“A promise kept” goes a hoarding at one of the places in the city of Hyderabad with the CM Mr. YS Rajashekar Reddy saluting the citizens in the Muslim way. The hoarding was in connection to the allocation of 4% quota for the Muslim minorities. The bill was passed with the intention of creating opportunities for backward area people in connection to education and jobs. Talking to the media, Shabbir Ali, one the Ministers in the YSR Government was actually criticising the TDP Government of not showing any interest and concern towards the Muslim section during it’s tenure. From where did this topic arise Mr. Minister? This shows the present Government is keen on showing how bad the previous Government is and hell bent on showing its own greatness. If you really want to show your greatness, then show it in developing the state.

Moreover it took the present Government 4 long years to keep its ‘promise’. God knows how many decades it will take to keep all the promises they made, up till now. On one hand the CM is making loads of promises to people, wherever he is going and on the other hand the promises are being just promises and nothing more.

It is not that I am against the Islam or Muslim religion and their improvement, but I would love to question this Government about what steps it is taking to improve the position of the remaining sections of the people? Is this Government discriminating the other groups by showing their concern towards only the Muslim section? I suppose the memory of our CM is very weak. So let me take the pain of reminding our dear CM about the promise of free electricity to all the farmers the moment he came into position.

How can you expect good governance from a Government, which has no unity among its own party leaders? I hope all such people who have elected this Government must be repenting their folly.

Yours Always,
