Imagine one morning you get up and observe that the world has come to an end and you will no longer be able to enjoy the beauty of our mother earth. Frightening to even think like that? The position of our earth is no less than that. One word, which has been making headlines from past few months, is “Global Warming”. What does that mean? You need not struggle to know what it means. Simply put, it means our earth is becoming warmer by the day. Don’t put it off by thinking you have Air-Conditioners to keep you cool. The more you use them the more you will lend your hand in increasing the temperature of the earth.

So what do you have to do to stop it? Nothing extraordinary. Just look into your daily lifestyle and there will be so much to change in order to make this earth much better to live. Few things which you can do is:

• Do not keep your mobile charger on even if the battery is full.
• Defrost your freezer as much as possible
• Turn off your electrical appliances like DVD, T.V when not in use.
• Use your washing machine only when it is full.
• Use your vehicle as less as possible.
• Run to your gym rather than on a vehicle.
• Switch off your computer monitor when not at work.
• Try to print on both sides of the paper and it good if you can decrease the printing itself.

The above given examples are very few. You can do more if you indulge yourself into this concept of saving the world from global warming. Like you can use black google rather than the actual google. There is also a website named blackle which acts as a black google. Not exactly google though. By using black google you will save 750 Megawatts of energy because the screen is predominantly black (that’s what the makers are saying). As far as the actual Google is concerned, sorry buddy I am not really against you but you better do something to that white background of yours before you are termed as the encourager of Global Warming (no pun intended).

More importantly you can switch over to green energy like installing Solar Energy at your place or getting yourself registered at your nearest supplier of Renewable Energy like Wind Power, Hydroelectric Power and Wave and Tidal Energy. This way we all can save the earth.

Before you come to conclusion that how can we live restricting ourselves to all this new lifestyle, let me remind you that we have only 8 years to save our Mother Earth.
